Our store includes a vast collection of beautiful oriental rugs deriving from ALL across the world, ranging from luxurious machine-made rugs to expertly mended hand-knotted rugs.

Founded in 2012, the owner Jacob Baniassadiyesh has made rugs a part of his life. Being the third generation of his family in the rug business, Jacob began making carpets at the age of 5 at his father's rug factory. From that point of time, he built himself up by learning the different kinds, patterns, and history of rugs from all over Iran and the eastern world. In his 20's, he was able to take the family business and expand it to Europe, most notably Italy and Germany. Mainly exports, Jacob built a solid foundation of what western markets find appealing in rugs. This led him to immigrate to Canada. Since 1997, Jacob has focused on the North American markets and their approach of business management. First settling in Toronto for a few years, Jacob eventually moved to Calgary and has made name for himself when it comes to rugs and customer service.
